Hi!

Is there a possibility to access and edit .htaccess file for one of the Forums I have with you guys? It's important as I'd like to be able to auto-reject/ban all the IPs that are using proxies and this can be easily done via few lines of code in .htaccess file. However, I'd need access to this file.

Is this possible to do on MyBB?

do you think this is not enough?
Admin menu - Options - Registration
/admin_options.php#o-registration ->Anonymous Proxy : Yes or No (Prohibition of registration of users who use anonymous proxy servers)

My forum will have unregistered people (anonymous guests) posting too. I suppose this option you mentioned disables people who register to do so using the proxy server.

Would it also disable anonymous/unregistered posters to post using proxy server too or is this just for registration?
